BIRDSEED

We've been baking our award-winning Birdseed bread for more than 25 years, and it's consistently been one of our customers' favorites. A dark whole-grain whole wheat bread with walnuts, raisins and nine additional grains, Birdseed is great for breakfasts, hearty sandwiches or just snacking. Honey and raisins add sweetness, and the walnuts and nine whole grains (wheat, barley, corn, brown rice, rye, triticale, millet, oat, soy, and flax) give the loaf a nutty crunch. We finish with a coating of toasted sesame seeds which add flavor and beauty to this robust bread.

Each 20-ounce loaf is made with bread flour and whole-grain whole wheat flour milled in Yolo County from Sacramento Valley wheat, water, nine whole grains (wheat, barley, corn, brown rice, rye, triticale, millet, oat, soy and flax), raisins, walnuts, yeast, honey, soy oil, caramel, and salt.  

Finished weights are approximate. All of our products are hand-cut and hand-formed, so we ask that you excuse any irregularities or inconsistencies in your unique loaf.
