White bread doesn't have to be bland or boring. Our Fermented French is made with only the four traditional ingredients found in a French baguette—flour, water, salt and yeast. Its full-bodied, aromatic flavor comes entirely from our process. We let the dough sit, rise, and fall for hours before we cut and form the pullman-style loaves by hand. This allows for a robust fermentation, and gives the bread more of a sourdough flavor—even though it is clearly not a sourdough bread.
It's rare to find a white bread this flavorful that doesn't contain additives or sugars (just look at the ingredients of virtually every store-bought white bread). Yet our Fermented French remains soft and fluffy, making it a favorite for kids and parents alike.
