farm-to-oven OATMEAL COOKIES
These are seriously good cookies. Yes, they're oatmeal cookies, but we also have a ton of customers who are not natural lovers of oatmeal who are hooked. And if you do like oatmeal cookies, you're going to be a fan after the first bite.
They're made with Sacramento Valley-grown and -milled whole-grain whole wheat flour, and come in four varieties: With California raisins; with semi-sweet chocolate chips; with semi-sweet chocolate chips and peanut butter chips; or triple chocolate with semi-sweet, milk, and white chocolate. The chocolate is from Ghirardelli. The California raisins are from our farmers market friends at Neufeld Farms.
These are hearty cookies, weighing in at about two ounces each. And be careful—it's easy to eat more than a couple of them in a sitting, and they're not exactly low-calorie. But (as Trudy likes to say) with all the thiamine, iron, dietary fiber, and antioxidants in them, they're almost good for you.
